kendrick lamar. i say kendrick lamar like i’m familiar with his whole discography but i won’t lie, i saw a SICK max verstappen edit (shut up) to DNA and then got so, so, so obsessed with TV off that i fear it will be my top song of the year on spotify already. whoops. anyway listened to the GNX album and damn. this man is a genius. no wonder he has a pulitzer for real. (also the super bowl performance. peak).
abba. need i say more? waterloo is my go-to karaoke song. actually abba is my go to karaoke band. i can’t sing a note. but abba isn’t judging me. at all.
fleetwood mac. actually. not really. i read the fleetwood mac wikipedia and. wow. that’s a lot of albums. that’s also A LOT of drama. oh my gosh. anyway i then listened to Rumours and i hate to say it, but the popular Fleetwood Mac songs (Dreams, Go Your Own Way, The Chain, Silver Spring, ykwim) are lowkey the only good ones. oh, and Second-Hand News (badow etc.).

movies/tv shows
recently made it a goal to watch more movies and i’ve really been cracking through them
we live in time (starring Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh). ugh. these are two of my fave actors and this was so good.
call me by your name. did timothee chalamet fuck a peach? did this “coming of age” story centre around a teen boy and a love interest who came of age like…a decade ago? yes. did i like the plot? not really. DID I LOVE THE AESTHETICS AND THE SHOTS AND- yes. oh my goodness that was beautiful.
thunderbolts. is it out yet? no. (well i guess it will be when i publish this lol) however the news that this was filmed as in-person as possible???? is marvel about to release a good film again? dear lord please.
no more disney live actions. rachel zegler is my new favourite person she can do no wrong. guys we won.
summer is over
jeans. STOCKINGS. jackets. i have two leather jackets. i own turtlenecks. i’m so excited to wear good clothes again (actually fat lie i served all year my clothes are delicious however WINTER MY BABY COME HOME TO ME)

the multitude of things
this is one i can’t appreciate all the time because i don’t take advantage of all the time but i have so many hobbies i have so many interests and i’m taking up even more.
i write and scribble ideas on receipt paper at work i have a piano even if i can’t play it (gonna learn harmonica and play piano man that’s my new mission) i’m going to garden i’m going to cook more.
i love being a jack of all trades and maybe this is the time i’m going to actually get halfway decent at something instead of just mediocre.

i’m making new friends. gracie abrams tour next week!!! i’m eating so many potatoes and i’m outdoing myself every time i cook something lowkey like DAMNNNN (to be fair it is really hard to mess up a potato).
crashed out so bad literally two hours ago but right now I AM THRIVING
there is so much in the world to be grateful for and i am so blessed to have gratitude come easy to me i feel like a newborn lamb frolicking. or a cat purring in the sun. or those “girl who is going to be okay” memes. ugh.
